Tahoe Conditions

The Dept of Transportation does a wonderful job of keeping the roads clear but you must always be prepared to travel through the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Always carry chains if you don’t have a 4 wheel drive vehicle.  The weather can change suddenly and you need to be prepared.  There are ”Chain Installers” available  along the road in case you need assistance.
